Thomas Downs
Tom has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1975 and was one of the founding partners of Downs & Colquitt, CPAs. In addition to being a CPA, he is an attorney and is certified as a Personal Financial Specialist. His practice areas include income, gift and estate tax and financial planning for individuals and businesses.
Mr. Downs is a graduate of the University of Alabama, B.S. 1972 and of Woodrow Wilson College of Law, J.D. 1976. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA) and the State Bar of Georgia. Mr. Downs is Past President of the Cobb County Estate Planning Council and of the Rotary Club of Marietta.
Mr. Downs is married to Pam, and they have three daughters – Annie, Tatum, and Sally. In his free time, Tom enjoys golf and working out. His most unusual hobby is stand-up comedy.
